Contemporary Sumi-e & Nihonga

Kyoto-born artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Working across sumi ink, mineral pigments, gold, and layered paper surfaces, Yoshikawa’s practice explores continuity, memory, transformation, and the unseen connections between living beings and the natural world.
